Treaty Benefit Payment
Each enrolled adult Kitselas Member must complete the Treaty Benefit Payment Form below to support the administration of their Kitselas Treaty Benefit payment in fall 2025.
Please email your completed form to enrolment@kitselas.com or drop it off at the Treaty Office – 4562 Queensway or Gitaus Administration – 2225 Gitaus Rd.
FAQs
Enrolled Kitselas Members over 18 years of age are eligible to receive the Treaty Benefit Payment.
Payments will be issued by direct deposit. Please submit your completed Treaty Benefit Payment Form as soon as possible to identify where you would like the money deposited.
The Treaty Benefit Payment will be paid in fall 2025.
Elders (65 years old and older as of April 10, 2025) will receive $20,000.
All other enrolled adult individuals (18 years old to 64 years old) will receive $10,000, with an additional benefit of $10,000 paid once they turn 65.
For youth, after they turn 18, they must complete their enrolment form confirming their desire to be enrolled in the Kitselas Treaty as an adult, and then they will be eligible for the Treaty Benefit Payment.
Once they have enrolled as an adult, they must complete the Treaty Benefit Payment Form to receive their benefit.
