The Treaty will only be ‘signed’ if the People approve it in ‘ratification’ votes scheduled for February 2025 (Constitution) and April 2025 (Treaty).

In Memory of Mel Bevan

Sha-Gann [Melville (Mel) Stanley] Bevan – January 23, 1941 – October 10, 2023 Mel Bevan was born on the Kitselas Indian Reserve in 1941, at a time when being “off-reserve without a licence from the Indian Agent” was still illegal.
