Sha-Gann [Melville (Mel) Stanley] Bevan – January 23, 1941 – October 10, 2023 Mel Bevan was born on the Kitselas Indian Reserve in 1941, at a time when being “off-reserve without a licence from the Indian Agent” was still illegal.
Kitselas Citizens are invited to attend the Province of BC and Canada’s virtual public open house for the Kitselas Treaty and Kitsumkalum Treaty. This follows an in-person open house, which took place on May 27 and was attended by members
